TRENDS IN THE INCREASING NUMBER OF STUDENTS BELONGING TO SPECIAL MEDICAL GROUPS AND METHODS OF APPLYING HEALTH-ORIENTED ATHLETIC GYMNASTICS

Abstract

This article presents a scientific analysis of the growing number of students assigned to special medical groups in higher education institutions and substantiates the most effective forms of health-oriented athletic gymnastics aimed at preserving and improving their health. The research findings indicate a high prevalence of cardiovascular diseases, musculoskeletal disorders, genitourinary diseases, postural abnormalities, respiratory diseases, and overweight among university students. The paper discusses the specific features of applying conditioning, corrective, and rehabilitative athletic gymnastics exercises for students of special medical groups. It also describes the structure of training sessions, principles of regulating physical exercise intensity, and methods of physiological monitoring to ensure the safety and effectiveness of the educational process.
