Abstract

This article highlights the technology for developing high-level cognitive skills (analysis, assessment, problem-solving, creative thinking, transfer) in students based on the integration of differentiated and person-centered approaches. The mechanisms of differentiated design of content, process, product, and educational environment in a heterogeneous classroom environment, as well as the activation of thinking through cognitively active methods and metacognitive reflection, are substantiated. It also describes ways to diagnose cognitive growth using criterion-based assessment, formative feedback, and portfolio monitoring.
