Abstract

Recurrent respiratory tract infections are common among young children and may be associated with disturbances in metabolic processes, reduced adaptive capacity, and impaired immune response. Metabolic correction may represent an important component of comprehensive management aimed at improving the child’s general condition and reducing the risk of recurrent episodes. This study focuses on the clinical and metabolic features of young children with recurrent respiratory tract infections and evaluates the potential role of metabolic correction in their comprehensive treatment. Particular attention is given to changes in metabolic status, clinical manifestations, and the dynamics of recovery during therapy. The findings may contribute to a better understanding of metabolic disturbances in children with recurrent respiratory infections and support the development of individualized approaches to their management.
