An epilepsy registry in the Fergana Valley is of practical importance for understanding the prevalence, distribution, and clinical characteristics of epilepsy among the population. The systematic collection of information about patients with epilepsy can help identify regional patterns of the disease, assess the effectiveness of treatment, and improve the organization of neurological care. Such a registry may also provide valuable information about the age and sex distribution of patients, the frequency of seizures, treatment approaches, and the factors associated with disease progression. In the Fergana Valley, where healthcare needs and access to specialized medical services may vary between urban and rural areas, a regional epilepsy registry could support more effective planning of medical resources and improve continuity of care. Furthermore, the collected data could serve as a basis for epidemiological research, early identification of patients requiring specialized assistance, and the development of evidence-based approaches to epilepsy management. Therefore, establishing and maintaining an epilepsy registry may contribute to improving the quality of medical care and the quality of life of people living with epilepsy in the region.
